lifehacker: Windows 8 Consumer Preview Quick Look

lifehacker posted a very quick look at some of the things Microsoft is showing off with its recently released Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Note that this is not the final product release for Windows 8, but a “preview,” probably designed to be a mass compatibility check experiment.

To be honest, I really like the look of the “Metro” UI – I hope to see someone do a BootCamp and Parallels/vmware compatibility test soon.
