Wow, this cool. If you have a compatible Nikon camera, you can remotely control it via your iPhone’s bluetooth (a dongle is attached to the camera). The blueSLR works from 300 feet away, and allows control of the camera’s shutter.
The blueSLR also uses your iPhone’s GPS to accurately geo-encode your Nikon camera’s pictures. You can also adjust your camera’s focus, shutter speed, and timer. The blueSLR works with all iOS devices.
If you are wondering, Canon camera support is supposedly coming soon, as well as Android & Blackberry support.
The $149 blueSLR is available for pre-order, but isn’t expected to ship until December 23rd – which means late for Christmas.
